Two messages have been deleted by accident, Alan Curry praised the band on a great performance at the Entertainments and stated the band accompaniment for the soloist was excellent. He made comment on the extra percussionist LB who replied "Who was in the coffin" when 1st Old boys won their section. I am just glad it was nobody belonging to CSB!!
Well done to every member of CSB and lauraldale on a great concert on Friday night. Adrain you did all right but your sound man needs to be sacked. It was brill and I know because everyone who was there told me so and that was the audience not the band. See you all at next practice. MP3s and video to be added to the website asap.
Again well done! Geoff
Good to see the band doing well. Ive kept a close eye from being at the Saturday workshop at Comber High. Also laura tells me you are brill. Keep up the good work. Adam
PS Geoff if feeling generous could you add a link to the youth band. www.IDYB.org
Hi All, and a big hello from the Garden of India. Hope everything is going well, and you arent missing me too much Davy and Ken LOL!
Enjoying all that Bangalore has to offer, as well as doing a bit of work as well. See you soon.
Hi all at Comber Brass. Im Mark from St. Josephs Brass Band and i recently took over the duty of webmaster. I redesigned the site and i have been looking through the directory for other NI Brass Bands to add to my mailing list. Your site is very impressive. If you could take the time to drop by ours it would be appreciated: www.stjosephsbrassband.com I have just installed a forum function on the site too.
Sorry for only writing now but I want to express my thanks for the welcome I received from you all at the Royal Garden Party at Hillsborough. I thoroughly enjoyed the blow and the enthusiasm within the band for making good music is clearly evident. Keep it up. Good luck for all that you do in the future under Geoff

Just want to say how much I enjoyed being with you all on Saturday. I had been with you before Christmas when I sung with the Youth Chorus so knew some of you but thanks for making me feel so welcome. I must commend you on such a great attendance on a Saturday morning. The band are certainly making great strides under Geoff, keep up the good work.
wonderful to look at so many times i heard the band playing comber is my home my name is mcwilliams daughter of the late jimmy and lillian
To whom it may concern, we have as you state 5 horns who are committed to comberbrass, but if you were interested in another instrument or coming down some practice night please contact the conducter with your email at GeoffClarke@Comberbrass,co.uk Use the contact email for any future messages and not the guest page.
I know the band already has 5 tenor horns, but does it want any female players? I dont play it at the minute, but really fancy giving it a go!
Enjoyed your site, very informative with plenty to look at and listen too, you seem to have a lot of players. I will have to come back and see what your up too next year. Hope all goes well for the future.
Great web site, enjoyed the Gala concert files super programme.
Hey, Just like to let you know. I thought i played exreamly well on Friday, and sowi I missed Lauraldale!!!! C u all on wed!!!
Great night last night at the Concert. Thought the band and Youth Chorus were terrific. The programme content itself was really balanced and made for a good night for the audience.
Personal thanks must go to Geoff whose efforts for Comber Band are immense. The hours of tuition are paying off handsomly. The extra hours that are put in making sure that the hall looked great and for helping gee everyone up with ticket sales. This guy just isn't a conductor, and hey, he's even pretty good at that.
Just delighted to be a part of the band and enjoy the craic with everyone. A great bunch . . . let's keep it going and improve even more.
I'd like to thank everyone who took part in tonight concert. We all worked so hard and reaped the rewards. To Adrian who sang, the Youth Chorus and Wilfie who steered us through, it was nice to play to a full hall. Lets look forward to bigger and better things.
Geoff
Very comprehensive and eyecatching!!
Absolultely Fabulous webside but then I am the oldest member of the family and taught the lad everything he knows. Good luck with Friday 1st December - hope you have a very successful evening - I am very much looking forward to being there.
Monday night's practice was great, even so there was a few missing, we are going places the sound that the band is producing is outstanding. Wishing every one a great nights sucess at our Gala Concert. I'm sure that we as a band will enjoy it thanks to Geoff for all his hard work. New members Vici, Clarke and Julie are making a great team in the back row of course I'm there as well, hope I get my black notes right see you all on Wednseday
Just looked at your site and was very impressed with poster design for this concert you are doing. If I lived in Belfast and not in cold and dank Glasgow, it would encourage me to buy a ticket!!. My question is will the concert live up to the ticket. I hope it does all the best. Angus.
Clark and Victoria have just visited the site and love it, and the band too!!!!!!
Greetings from Poyntzpass Silver and thanks again to the Mercer Trio for their help at the Rememberance Festival in Armagh, and hope to see them again soon. Congrats on your contest place.
