YOUTH BAND
Youth Band
The Comber Brass Youth Band was formed in September 2022 and is a strategic initiative by Comber Brass to help secure the future of local brass banding, and the contribution it makes to the musical arts and culture of the Ards & North Down area.
The band currently has around 20 enthusiastic young musicians, ranging in age from 8 to 15 years old, who meet regularly on a Tuesday evening for an hour of rehearsal. New members are always welcome to join, so please make contact if you are interested or would like to find out more about the band.

Action Renewables donation to Youth Band - 21 Mar 2023
We are delighted to have received a generous donation from Action Renewables towards the purchase of new music stands for the Youth Band. Pictured with our new stands is Lana Moore (Senior Project Manager, Action Renewables) alongside Wesley Thompson (Musical Director, Comber Brass) and some of our Youth Band members. We are really grateful for this support and to Lana who helps us out at Youth Band each Tuesday evening with our cornets and trumpets!
